Brow Lamination Looks Crunchy
Brow lamination looks crunchy when hairs are over-set, coated with too much gel, or brushed too flat. Softening the finish makes brows look fuller.

The fix
- brush brows upward and slightly outward instead of straight up and flat
- remove excess gel from the wand before applying
- use a clean spoolie to break up shiny or stiff sections
- condition brow hairs at night if they feel dry
If it’s still not right
- Skip strong-hold gel for a few days if the hairs feel brittle.
- Use tinted brow powder only in gaps rather than coating every hair.
Prevent it next time
- Avoid layering wax, gel, and pencil heavily in the same brow.
- Brush through before product fully dries.
Notes
Why this works
Brows look fuller when light can catch individual hairs. A hard layer of gel flattens that dimension and can make the brow look painted on.
Using less hold product and combing through keeps the lifted shape while softening the finish.
